A Beneficiary Owner (BO) Account facilitates trading (buy or sell) of securities. Securities are electronically deposited to or withdrawn from BO accounts. BO accounts are opened with Central Depository Bangladesh Limited (CDBL) through a Depository Participant (DP), i.e., brokerage house.

For Single BO Account:
  • 2 copies passport-size photos of the client
  • NID copy of the client
  • Client's cheque leaf copy (Name spelling must match NID)
  • TIN certificate (If any)
  • Email address & Mobile Number
  • 1 copy passport-size photo of nominee
  • NID copy of nominee
For Joint BO Account:
  • 2 copies passport-size photos of 1st account holder
  • 2 copies passport-size photos of 2nd account holder
  • NID copy of both account holders
  • TIN certificate of 1st account holder (if any)
  • 1 copy passport-size photo of nominee (Not mandatory)
  • NID copy of nominee (Not mandatory)
  • 1st account holder's cheque leaf copy (Name spelling must match NID)
